Zachary A. Kretchmer is the founding member of Kretchmer Family Law, PLLC. Mr. Kretchmer’s practice is 100% devoted to family law, representing clients on cases involving divorce, complex business valuations, non-marital property, spousal maintenance, paternity, custody, and adoption matters.

Mr. Kretchmer advocates a pragmatic, sensible and cost-effective approach to family law, and utilizes the courts only as a last resort. To that end, Mr. Kretchmer regularly participates in mediation in order to mitigate legal costs while still obtaining a result consistent with his clients' wishes. In the event litigation is necessary, Mr. Kretchmer is a meticulous practitioner who will use his command of the law and the particular facts of the case to protect his client's interests. Mr. Kretchmer is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Minnesota Chapter, a  Rule 114 Qualified Neutral, and offers family mediation services.
