Welcome to John J. Duncan Jr. School of Law, Lincoln Memorial University. LMU was established in 1897 to honor Abraham Lincoln. The Duncan School of Law was established in 1897 as a living memorial to Abraham Lincoln. It has been teaching prospective lawyers since 2009 and preparing them to be advocates for their clients using compassion and zeal. They also serve their communities with strong ethical standards. LMU LAW is located in downtown Knoxville, Tennessee. LMU LAW is not your typical law school. It is a small, close-knit community that cares about students and helps them build lasting relationships. LMU LAW's classes are small enough to provide students with the individualized attention that is unmatched in other schools. Our faculty is available to students, so they are not just a number. You will be ready for a rewarding career in law, regardless of whether you are pursuing full-time or part-time study.
