If I am expecting the rest of my money from a risperdal lawsuit, can the latter take a portion of my money to lend even if have already received some of it?

I got some money from a law suit but I think they didn’t pay me all the money it is now over a year. As I was told, the money that was held was a Medical lien hold back and a General Expense hold back; it was mentioned that I was to receive the Medical lien hold back but not the General Expense hold back.
