Is synthetic marijuana detectable in the blood, and what are the possible penalties for a first-time offender of driving under the influence of synthetic marijuana?

I hit a pole and dozed off at the wheel as a result of being fatigued due to a double shift. One officer accused me for DUI saying my eyes were watery. The day before the examination I had taken synthetic marijuana but I do not use weed nor I drink alcohol. This may sound so wacko but I am actually concerned about the result of the blood test. Will synthetic marijuana appear and what consequences am I in for if it is found?
