The University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law is an innovative, intimate law school. It strives to develop students who enjoy challenging dialogue starting from the first moment of orientation. They embrace practice-based learning and are ready to join the ranks of alumni who have been global leaders in intellectual, general practice, social justice, commerce, and technology. Students can work in their chosen fields for up to one semester and receive credit. The Daniel Webster Scholar program, which is practice-based, is the only alternative to the national bar exam. Our faculty is made up of professionals who are experts in their respective fields. Collaboration and collegiality are encouraged by the small student-faculty ratio. The American Bar Association has accredited UNH Franklin Pierce in Concord, New Hampshire. This is where you will find the state legislature, state offices, and local, state, and U.S. federal court courts. Concord is located just one hour away from Boston and less than an hour from the Atlantic Ocean, mountains, lakes, and other important places.
