What Is Life Insurance?

If you die unexpectedly, life insurance will help replace the money you earn in your job. In case of your death, your spouse or kids could struggle greatly if there is no life insurance to support them.

Types of Life Insurance

There are two main types of life insurance:

  1. Term life insurance
  2. Whole (Permanent) live insurance

Term life insurance is for a set period and once it ends, you have to renew or the policy disappears. The reason many like these policies is that they are inexpensive and there is no need to commit for a long term.

A whole or permanent life insurance policy can be kept for an unlimited time span. With these policies, you can gain interest on the payments you make and you can access the balance before your death if it suits you. Certain people are attracted to these policies as they think not dying is not a negative and they do not need to keep applying for the policy perspective.

Life Insurance Attorneys

Even though some exceptions exist, regarding suicide for example, normally the beneficiary will promptly get the life insurance benefits when the named person passes away. If the life insurance company is being slow or refusing after a loved one has died, a good lawyer can help solve the problem more quickly and effectively.
