Revenue Reporting Services has contacted me about loan interest that had been paid more than 4 years ago.

This company approached me saying that I had not paid the interest on a loan that was paid off more than 4 years ago. In this phone call, they were not willing to send me a verification of the debt, until it was completely paid. I had paid an initial amount of $303.95 on claim which amounted to $580.00 based on being threatened because of the claim of garnishing of wages. I dispatched a Debt Verification Letter to the in question company and the company failed to reply within 30 days time. I got in touch with the Attorney General at New York who has been playing mediator in the matter. I got a letter back on Revenue Reporting yesterday saying that they had received the letter, 9/2/14. I currently have the signed postcard with the signature of 8/12/14. According to them, they have also written letters to my address but I have not received anything.
