Can a credit card lawsuit be dismissed if I no longer live in the county where it was filed?
I received a summons of a credit card debt that I acquired through an abusive ex of mine. In March, I managed to receive a protective order on his part, but I returned in January. On departure, I drove to my parent house, 2 hours south of that. The summons that I received indicates in the complaints that I am a resident of the county where I was living with my ex and that the complaint will be dealt with by the same county court system. That is not the case. I have spent 6 months in a new county.
Is this a reason to fire me, or at most, a means of buying me more time to sort it out?
Thanks!

Is Accredited Debt Relief Possible – Will This Impact My Home?
I am looking for ways to pay off my credit card and would require assistance in this regard. I called a particular organization known as Accredited Debt Relief or Beyond Finance for assistance for I had accumulated about $50, 000 credit card balance in six credit card accounts. They offered a 4-year repayment schedule of $589 monthly, which they have indicated contains all the fees. I said yes and gave my account number but changed my mind later at which I called to cancel the transaction. They convinced me to take two more weeks for the decision. Until now, no payments have been made.
Here are my main concerns:
Is this a safe and smart option for someone in my situation as per the accredited debt relief reviews? My spouse has been deceased for one and a half years, and as for my work, I was a legal secretary who lost my job a year ago and now, I am receiving Social Security benefits only.
However, my concern here is that signing up to this debt relief type might lead to me losing my house. I have a home that is almost $1 million here and have a little loan payment in a fairly, good, and affordable interest rate.
I would also want to know if this kind of debt negotiation or settlement in any way violates the law or might affect my property in the future. Thanks in advance for any information.

I was just discussing with National Debt Relief. Are they a good company? Is it good for me to enroll in their program?
Hello I have credit card debts amounting to more than $20000 and one day I came across an advert of National Debt Relief, they indicated that I could only pay $500 every month and they will call my creditors on my behalf. Is this a legitimate thing?
