Personal injury case California. I have a claim in CA - want to know the effect of Emergency Rule 9 on my statute of limitions?
So the insurance company has been very slow to deal with me and the 2 year mark since the incident when I was injured is approaching in about 2 weeks. I feel they are trying to run out the clock and not getting back to me fairly. So I read all about the covid-19 emergency rule 9 and it seems to suggest that I can safely assert that I have an additional 178 days that can be tacked onto my normal statute of limitations date (which would be 4/6/2021. Do you agree and do you agree with my interpretation of emergency rule 9 of court?
