Why does NyQuil appear on a urine test as alcohol?
My 16 year old son underwent a urine test and the result turned out to be positive with alcohol and he was not drinking at all they said it might be the NyQuil how could that be so?

How does NyQuil appear on a urine test as alcohol?
Two weeks ago my 16 year old son was given a urine test which showed that he had alcohol in his system although he has not been consuming alcohol. The test results point towards NyQuil as being the common link. But how can NyQuil lead to a positive urine test for alcohol?
