Can my landlord increase the rent by $300 from my apartment?
The new management of the apartment in which I live in has transferred management to a new company and they have increased the rent by $300. I have been a resident of this state for seven years. They say they are adjusting the rent to the market standards. I think this is wrong but I am not sure.

Can I stop an eviction in a case in which I made partial payments and have a payment plan with the management?
I had $300 of unpaid rent but was paying $100 weekly before I received the eviction notice. I also made payments with the management regarding payment plan too. However I was recently given an overview of the process. What precaution can one make to ensure that the eviction process does not go on?
