I had to take a new job [after being laid off] in November of 2017. Since living in the Bay Area is very expensive and since I needed to reduce my salary to take a new job, should I quit my current job, would I be entitled to unemployment benefits? What are your recommendations to someone in my position? I intend to relocate with family to Southern California.

Received a work-related injury 2 months ago and currently earns 2/3 of the earning which is insufficient to support a living; thus, had to move to another state with family though it is very terrible to go back to work even if healed due to possibility of reinjury. Should I go ahead and request a settlement from the claims adjuster so that I could leave the situation, and quit and move on? Or do I have to sit back and wait for months before they bring me another settlement offer? I'm feeling so lost … plz help
