Is it possible to sue a plastic surgeon due to failed eyelid surgery?
I had mohs surgery. On day nx, I had upper eyelid reconstruction surgery. The surgeon botched it, and I can now no more open my eyelid! I lost use of the site as he had done it wrong and stitched down the ends of the eyelid, even common sense will tell you that tacked down eyelid will not raise. He only had to stretch and sew and to follow instructions to do in layers, bending the bottom layer and piling it up so as to afford protection to the eye and serve to the eyelid.<br />
I'm so depressed and weak with 1 eye and can fall. I am 77. I went to a skin dr to check whether my cancer had come back. He said no, its prob an eyelash. So I visited Eye Dr, but needed my original skin dr to see it. He spotted the cancer immediately, and it was bad. So a skin dr misdiagnosed me, and an eye dr is the one who did the surgery wrong. Can I sue both? Where do I find atty? What are my chances?
