What is required to create a modification of existing “long-distance” parenting plan in Utah?
Ex-husband and I currently have a brief provision in our current parenting plan that establishes a “long distance” parenting plan if we relocate beyond 25 miles of each other. The point is, this parenting plan is completely unreasonable (which gives the Ex every holiday, from Memorial day to even MLK day) and has not been adhered to from the time my ex moved to Georgia, 2000 miles away from us. We discussed in text about switching big holidays and that has been done for over a year now. I have applied for change just to apply for it on paper and now my ex is denying it and was able to have it withdrawn by the commissioner.<br />
I am now objecting, but was wondering if anyone has any advise or the legal precedents. Thank you.
